My projects investigate:
- the effects of biochar on crop yields, soil nutrient cycling, and soil microbial communities in a field experiment (Griffin et al., 2017),
- impacts of biochars on nodulation of legumes by rhizobia bacteria,
- how wetting patterns in subsurface drip irrigation impacts soil microbial communities, nutrient transformations, and soil carbon storage (Field day handout).
